Samiei Nejad: Requirement to present a timetable for launching the National Iranian Copper Company's projects / Continuous monitoring of mining sector development projects under the supervision of Industry, Mine and Trade’s minister

According to IMIDRO's public relations, Mohammad Masoud Samiei Nejad, in the mentioned meeting attended by the head of the National Iranian Copper Industries Company, deputies and managers of IMIDRO, emphasized the need for transparency in the implementation of projects. He called for the development and presentation of a precise timetable for launching the National Copper Industries Company’s projects for the current year and the coming year and noted: “it is necessary to carry out integrated and coordinated planning, in order to create balance in the implementation of development projects in Sungun."
Regarding the importance of principled utilization of the projects, he stated: "The projects should be inaugurated at least passing one month since the start of their production,so that we can ensure the sustainability of production and the complete readiness of the infrastructure."
The Deputy Minister also emphasized the need to accelerate the process of registering equipment orders, considering it as one of the key factors in preventing implementation delays.

Continuous monitoring of projects by the Minister of Industry, Mine and Trade

The Head of IMIDRO also reported on holding continuous meetings with the Minister of Industry, Mine and Trade to review the completion status of projects, noting that the developmental projects of the country's mine and mining industries are regularly monitored under the direct supervision of the Minister of Industry, Mine and Trade, and policies are implemented in accordance with the progress of the projects.
Continuing the meeting, the head of the National Iranian Copper Industries Company declatrd: "The projects to construct the Phase 3 and 4 concentration plants in Sungun, the cathode production plant, the construction of the second lime kiln in Ahar, and the reconstruction of the heap leaching plant are underway."
Mostafa Feyz Ardakani added: "Currently, the Phase 3 concentration and cathode projects have 40 and 56 percent physical progress, respectively, and by accelerating order registrations, the completion process of the development projects of this unit will also be accelerated."
