the largest steel sheet production project in the country is scheduled to launch by the beginning of summer 2026.

According to IMIDRO's public relations, Mohammad Masoud Samiei Nejad after listening to the
progress report of the project and the existing challenges in the performance monitoring
meeting of Gol-E-Gohar Iron and Steel Company, stated: "The shareholders of Gol-E-Gohar Iron
and Steel Company should announce their schedule and commitment amount for financing this
project as soon as possible."
The Deputy Minister of Industry, Mine and Trade, while noting that Gol-E-Gohar Iron and Steel
Company is completing the construction of the largest steel sheet production project with an
annual production capacity of 3 million tons, added: "Shareholders, after determining the
timing of fulfilling their obligations, should inform IMIDRO , therefor this plan can be available
to the Ministry of Industry, Mine and Trade and the government."
Samiei Nejad continued that parts of the project have been tested and launched, and added:
This project is the largest steel project in the last 10 years and has a great importance for our
country.
In this meeting, Iman Atighi managing director of Gol-E- Gohar Mining and Industrial Company
and Mohammad Mohayapour,Managing director of Gol-E- Gohar Iron and Steel Development
Company, explained the measures taken and the challenges facing the project.

The Gol-E-Gohar Iron and Steel hot rolling and steelmaking project, with the aim of producing 3
million tons of various steel sheets annually, is currently in the final stages of construction and
launching.
