Iran’s Crude  Steel and  Steel Products Output Statistics

        Tehran, 1Nov, IMIDRO_ Statistics of crude  Steel and  Steel products output of steelmaking companies in Iran during the first half of the current Iranian year (from 21March_22 August 2015) were released.
According to the press release of public relations of IMIDRO, during the first half of the current Iranian year (from 21March_22 August 2015) steelmaking companies produced 8,202,399 tons crude  Steel. This figure at the corresponding period last year was 8,355,210 tons.
Crude  Steel production of major steelmaking companies are as following: Mobarakeh  Steel Company 2,718,191 tons, Khuzestan  Steel Company 1,722,625 tons, Esfahan  Steel Company 1,173,349 tons, Hormozgan  Steel Company 579,669 tons, Saba  Steel Company 387,787 tons, Khorasan  Steel Company 334,436 tons, Iran Alloy  Steel Company144,247 tons and Iran National  Steel Industrial Group 102,695 tons.
Iran’s crude  Steel production decreased 1.8 percent during the first half of the current Iranian year (from 21March_22 August 2015) compared to the corresponding period last year.
During the mentioned period Iran produced 8,177,427 tons  Steel products. This figure decreased 7.5 percent compared to the corresponding period last year.
According to the this report Iran experienced reduction in  Steel production while global  Steel decreased as weak demand during the previous months consequently.
According to the latest report of world  Steel association,  Steel productions of 65 steelmaking countries in the world were 1,212,316,000 tons.
This figure shows 2.4 percent decrease in crude  Steel production compared to the corresponding period last year.
