IMIDRO’s Investment in Identification and Exploration Sector

According to the report of the public relations of IMIDRO, Exploration manager of IMIDRO announced that Exploration reports have high standards so they could be an appropriate base to inform domestic and foreign investors. These zones mostly are located in Yazd and Isfahan Provinces.

In first step we try to attract domestic and foreign investors in order to continue Exploration activities by systematic methods. In the next step, the rest of the said above Exploration area (90,000 kilometers) will be put on agenda and identification phase will be accomplished. We negotiated with well-known companies around the world and they are ready to visit these zones and then invest in these projects, he added.

During the last two years IMIDRO started new investment projects in Exploration sector whit about $400 million in a 5-year period, 50 percent will be invested by IMIDRO and 50 percent by private sector. We will explore and exploit valuable reserves in the near future in Iran such as copper, gold and also platinum, Ali Asgharzadeh said.
