IMIDRO to Hold exploration Conference
Tehran, July24, IMIDRO_IMIDRO is going to hold a conference on “Iran’s new explorations” in Tehran on July 30.
According to the report of Public relations of IMIDRO, the conference on IMIDRO’s new exploration findings in 250 square kilometers will be held at IMIDRO’s Conference hall with attendance of Mehdi Karbasian, chairman of the board of IMIDRO.
Some keynote speakers of the conference are Mehdi Karbasian, chairman of the board of IMIDRO, Asadollah Keshavarz, Ministry of Industry, Mine and Trade’s exploration director general, Ali Asgharzadeh, IMIDRO’s exploration director, Vahid Fotovati, geomatics director general of Geological Survey of Iran, Gholamreza Mollataheri, IMPRC Head, Hesam Moghadam ali, IMPASCO’s exploration director.
Some main subjects of the conference will be Industry, Mine and Trade Ministry’s objects in assignment of zones, IMPASCO’s exploration performance in last 4 years, exploration performance of empowerment project in zones, exploration of rare earth elements, private sector’s joint exploration activities in Kurdistan zones, cooperation of IMIDRO and Geological Survey of Iran.
Since Iranian year1393 (ended march2015), IMIDRO has started exploration activities in reconnaissance and prospecting phases in 250 square kilometers include 20 provinces and 36 zones. Iran’s rare earth elements reserves was 300thousand tons in Iranian year 1394(ended march 2016) which is estimated to be increased to one million tons due to new explorations.
